"Lost"
On Monday May 7, 2012, a Russian airliner disappeared only 12 minutes after takeoff. The flight was meant to be a demonstration flight of the new Sukhoi Superjet-100, which was carrying 44 passengers. The plane vanished once the plane hit an altitude of about 6,000 feet. This is leading the Indonesian authorities to believe that the plane was hijacked.

Explosive Ending
5 people were arrested over the weekend when the FBI, during a sting operation, apprehended 5 suspects in an alleged bombing. The group was attempting to blow up a Cleveland bridge. Over the past few months the FBI had been monitoring the group and had foiled the groups plans. The group consisted of men in their 20's. The motives behind the groups preemptive actions were that the group was trying to destroy signs, to send a message to corporate America.

Petrino Fired.
Arkansas Razorback head football coach Bobby Petrino was fired yesterday by athletic director Jeff Long. The controversy between Long and Petrino started when Petrino was driving his motorcycle with a 25 year old female passenger(also student at Arkansas), and crashed the motorcycle. Long and the board of directors looked into the relationship and found that Petrino was having relations with this student. Long also said that Petrino gave the student 20,000$. In best interest Arkansas, release their head coach.

Murder in Door County
The human remains of pop sensation Justin Bieber were found buried in the back yard of high school teacher, Bryan Dahlie. Dahlie who fled the country three days earlier, was unable to contact for questioning. After searching Dahlie's house, police found a shrine dedicated to Bieber. Police also found Dahlie's private journal, and determined that Dahlie had a burning love for Bieber that could never be fulfilled due to the sex and age differences. Millions of little girls and boys around the nation are asking for Dahlie's head on a pike. Rumor has it that Dahlie is living with his cousin in Norway. A group of students that know Dahlie best are in the process of tracking him throughout the slopes of the Norwegian Mountains. "The Group" consists of Tim "Buckshot" Alberts, Matt "Deerbuck" Hecht, Brandon "Wedge" Vanderlinden, Sawyer "Bullseye Joe" Johnson, Bjorn "Booger" Johnson, and Austin "Squirrel" Kissel. The Group is hot on the tail of Dahlie, and rumor has it that Dahlie is after boy band sensation "One Direction". When will the killing end?Wednesday, March 21, 2012
New iPad is Hot!... Literally.
With the release of the new Apple iPad3, consumers are rushing out to the stores trying to get their hands on one. But, should they? After a recent report by consumer goods the iPad3 has reached a temperature of 116 degrees Fahrenheit, this temperature change makes it difficult to hold onto the iPad3 for no longer than about a minute. This temperature change is due to running multiple programs at once and the iPad3 not being able to handle it. This is a major design flaw and needs to be fixed, but I have faith in Apple to pull through and make a great product.

Whats With These Ships?
Due to a fire aboard the Costa Allegra, passengers were stranded on the ship for three days, in the middle of the Indian Ocean. One of the three diesel motors caught fire, and due to the fire, hours later the ship's generators had failed, stranding the passengers and crew in the middle of the ocean. A French tuna-fishing boat helped tow the boat to safety. One of the main concerns of the crew was of the Somalian pirates nearby. So they decided not to launch the life boats due to that. The only casualties of the incident consisted of broken wrists and arms from people falling in the dark. This has been the second incident for the cruise line Costa Cruises, and hopefully the last.

It's Electrifying!
As of a report Monday, it is rumored that the "hacker" group by the name of Anonymous will make an attempt to take down the nation's electrical power grid. Anonymous has said that they have no intent of attacking the grid. The NSA (National Security Agency) has taken defensive precautions, to prevent an attack, even though the group has the ability to go after computer networks. The main target of Anonymous' is the websites of the agencies that they disagree with so people are not too concerned that they will go after power grid.

It's Lin-sanity!
New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has gained major spotlight lately with his recent performances on the basketball court. Since becoming a starter he is averaging 26.8 points per game, 8 assists per game, and 4.2 rebounds. He really brought the spotlight upon him when he dropped 38 points against the Los Angeles Lakers. Lin, a graduate from Harvard University, was dropped twice before joining the Knicks organization, was thought to be nothing special, teams thought he was good enough to keep for the practice squad. He saw his playing time as an opportunity, and he took it. Since becoming the starting point guard he has lead the Knicks to 5 straight victories. We look forward to seeing more "Lin"sane player.

Hacking Going to Far?
A group by the name of Lords of Dharmaraja allegedly have hacked and have stolen sources codes from Symantec (computer security software). The group is trying to extort the company for at least $50,000. They say their intention was never to get money but to embarrass the company.Due to this attack Symantec have offered free upgrades to the newest software version, because the newest version is safe from this attack. The contact has been going through law enforcement, so that the law could track down the hackers. There is no official word that the hackers do in fact have the source code, but Symantec isn't taking any chances.

More Than Just an After Party
University of Wisconsin- Madison associate athletic director, John Chadima, is being accused of inappropriately touching a student. The accuser says Chadima grabbed his crotch, while they were in his hotel room in Pasadena while attending rose bowl week. The Student reacted by slapping away Chadima's hand. Following this event Chadima was placed on administrative leave, and resigned the same day. Chadima blames his actions on his consumption of alcohol. "I make no excuses and have come to the realization that over the past few months, alcohol had controlled and consumed my life," Chadima said. Chadima tells reporters that he thought that the student was of homosexual orientation. This is just another sexual scandal including collegiate staff, and something needs to be done to prevent this.
